Hike, mountain bike or drive hilltop ridges for a spectacular view of the Klondike Gold Fields and the Ogilvie Mountains, tour Gold Rush ghost towns, pan and sluice for gold, then cook a warm meal in an authentic style wall tent. Fall asleep to a crackling fire in your wood stove, to the background sound of a flowing creek and wild songbirds.

Welcome to our gold camp in the Heart of the Klondike!

Today's Yukon visitors are still attracted by the lure of gold, to kneel by a creek and capture a piece of this mysterious metal, separating a few flakes from a pan full of 'paydirt'. Unfortunately, to do so in a Klondike creek without permission would land them the name of 'claim jumper' and be against today's mining laws.

Such was the feeling of Eureka Gold Panning Adventures, established in 1996 as a Yukon family business, owned and operated by Morris and Sandy George. We offer a 'soft adventure' environment for you to relax by the gently flowing Hunker Creek, pan for gold or explore the remains of the Gold Rush, away from crowds of Dawson City. Come as one, or make it a playground for your kids.

To further enhance your enjoyment of the Klondike, we offer a chance to overnight in our comfortable and well-equipped wall tents. Venture away from the motor homes and hotel rooms. Enjoy Canada's northern wilderness in a safe and comfortable setting at Eureka Gold Panning Adventures.

About Us

Sandy and Morris are long-time Yukoners. Sandy was born and raised in Dawson City. Our claims were staked by her father in 1976 and have been in her family ever since. As a young girl, Sandy spent the Dawson summers on Eureka Creek where her father mined other gold claims. These are fond childhood memories that have evolved into our company's name.

Morris has lived in Yukon since 1974. He is an experienced camper and outdoors person. Together, their knowledge and admiration for the Klondike will have you leaving Eureka Gold Panning Adventures with a wealth of experience many visitors miss.
